Gareth Davies, the Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG) of the National Audit Office, has reported on the 2014-15 Sports Council for Northern Ireland Lottery Distribution Accounts.
He has issued a report on the accounts due to the delay in finalising the 2014-15 accounts. This delay was due to governance issues in the Sports Council for Northern Ireland as well as a lack of expertise and corporate knowledge regarding preparing the financial statements to recognised public sector accounting standards.
