Gareth Davies, the Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG) of the National Audit Office, has reported on the 2018-19 accounts of Greenwich Hospital.
He has qualified his audit opinion because he has been unable to obtain sufficient appropriate audit evidence to support the valuation of certain commercial property within Greenwich Hospital’s Investment Property portfolio. This is because Greenwich Hospital has not maintained accurate and current records on which to base the valuation.
