This Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Annual Report focuses on achievements in the third year of our D&I Strategy (2021–25). It gives an assessment of our current position and includes case studies that show our priorities in action.

- Reduced our mean gender pay gap by a further 1.9 percentage points from 6.4% in 2022 to 4.4% in 2023. If we continue to progress at this rate, we will meet our March 2025 target and are on track to close the gap by 2027.
- Reduced the ethnic minority senior auditor attrition rate from 39% to 19% and completed our pilot ethnic minority sponsorship programme with two of the nine participants promoted.
- Reduced our disability pay gap, from a mean of 6% in 2022 to 5% in 2023.
- Achieved Level 3 Disability Confident status highlighting our commitment to inclusive hiring and talent development.
- Moved into a brand new office in Newcastle, which provides a new accessible and inclusive working premises.
- Strengthened our social mobility data with 73% of employees completing the parental occupation measure.
